Irish Film Screening – I Am Immigrant

I Am Immigrant will be screened on Wednesday, February 17th as a part of the Irish Popcorn! series for Solas Nua.

I Am Immigrant is a 2016 documentary by director Luke McManus, produced by Motive Television and RTÉ.

I Am Immigrant explores what it’s like to live in Ireland when you are from a different ethnic background. Following a number of Irish immigrants, the film documents the daily challenges, as they see them, through their eyes.

There will be a post-screening discussion with director Luke McManus and documentary subject Boni Odoemene, co-founder of the ‘Black and Irish’ podcast.

Introduction by Solas Nua’s Kate Meenan-Waugh

This free event is being co-hosted by NYU DC, and the screening will be facilitated via Zoom.
